Foundation’s “In Memory” Program Makes Sense for Future Health of Area Communities

Any time a friend or relative leaves this life, we all scramble to find the right flowers to send to the funeral or the right sympathy card with the right words to send to the grieving family.  At West River Health Services Foundation, we have a simple solution for this stressful time in your life. Why not consider leaving a legacy in your friend’s or relative’s memory, while improving the future of your local healthcare system at the same time? After all, a gift to West River Health Services has the potential to touch everyone in our service area – from newborns to the elderly and everyone in between.

All you have to do is let our WRHS Foundation know the following: who your gift is “In Memory” of; the amount you want to gift ($25, $50, $75, $100); where you want your gift to go (General, Physician Recruitment Endowment, General Endowment, Ambulance, Partners In Health Club, Surgery Center, Scholarship, MRI, Western Horizons Living Centers, or Other); and whom we should send acknowledgement. We’ll send out a card immediately to whomever you request, telling them about your thoughtful “In Memory” gift and where you placed your gift at West River Health Services. Plus, we’ll send you a card thanking you for your gift to our WRHS Foundation, a 501 (C) 3, non-profit organization. Hence, your gift is tax deductible.

This “In Memory” program is a thoughtful idea for you and our area communities. Instead of spending your limited time shopping, you’ll be creating a legacy for the future health of our local communities. This type of gift potentially impacts everyone locally – kids, friends, adults, visitors, our entire area community. And why wouldn’t we keep our gifts local?

In today’s paper, there is an advertisement for our WRHS Foundation’s “In Memory” program. When the time comes for an “In Memory” gift, just complete the information, clip it out, and send it back to us with your gift.  Or drop it by our WRHS Foundation office in Hettinger. Or you can acquire WRHS Foundation Donor Cards at any West River Health Services Clinic in Hettinger, Lemmon, Bowman, Mott, New England and Scranton.  If you have any questions about this thoughtful program, please call Ted Uecker at the WRHS Foundation at 701-567-3666. He’ll gladly guide you through the relevance of this program.

Remember: every gift to our Foundation is important, no matter the amount. Thank you for considering a gift and leaving a legacy “In Memory” of your dear friend or family member.
