The Roger Follmer Estate gifted $250,000 to the West River Health Services Foundation this past week on Thursday, October 27th. The administrator of the estate, Dr. Mark Nelson, issued the large gift via check to Ted Uecker, Fund Development Officer at West River Health Services Foundation.
Uecker responded, “We are so grateful to Roger Follmer for thinking of his hometown nonprofit healthcare system when developing his will. In addition, we praise Dr. Nelson for his involvement and engagement with this gift. We look forward to utilizing these funds to improve our healthcare delivery for all.”
Alyson Kornele, the new CEO at West River Health Services, echoed Uecker’s comments. “WRHS is incredibly blessed to be supported by our local communities.”
Previously, back on July 6th, the WRHS Foundation received a terrific $100,000 gift from the Roger Follmer Estate. Together with this $250,000 gift, the Follmer Estate has gifted $350,000 to the WRHS Foundation over the last four months! And word has it, that nearly $200,000 might still be coming.
The WRHS Foundation Board of Directors meets next on Monday, November 28th at 7:00pm to discuss further where these sensational funds will be placed.
