(CLICK TO ENLARGE) The Partners In Health Club at West River Health Services Foundation is recommending $84,500 for needed equipment for West River Health Services and Western Horizons Living Centers at the next WRHS Foundation Board of Directors meeting on Monday, August 22nd.
Partners In Health Club originally began in 2002 as a means to create funding for needed medical equipment (beyond the yearly Capital Budget) for residents and patients at West River Health Services and Western Horizons Living Centers. Historically, the Club has now gifted over $700,000 for needed equipment over the last 21 years! Everything from defibrillators to heated baby blankets to portable ultrasound equipment and more have been provided. Last year, Partners In Health Club gifted four EKG Machines to our WRHS Satellite Clinics in Bowman, Mott, New England and Lemmon.
This year, the WRHS Administrative Team is recommending the largest annual gift ever via Partners In Health Club ($84,500), including the following: a resident transport van for WHLC ($27,000); a bariatric bed for WRHS ($23,500); a bathing room at Western Horizons Care Center ($17,000); and partial funding toward a new 4-wheel drive vehicle for West River Ambulance Service ($17,000). All four of these equipment gifts would aid our residents and patients with their healthcare needs.
There are three giving levels in our Partners In Health Club: Bronze -- $100-$249; Silver -- $250-$499; and Gold -- $500+. Remember, these are accumulated giving totals from June 1, 2022 through May 31, 2023. So even gifts of $10 per month would put you over the $100 threshold. And more importantly, your gift could impact everyone in our area communities – from babies to the elderly to everyone in between. The WRHS Foundation is an accredited, 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and is governed by a volunteer board of directors from area communities.
Currently, we have 382 members of our Partners in Health Club, who have gifted $100 or more over one year’s time. You can become a member by gifting $100 or more to any of our WRHS Foundation programs, whether it be toward Partners In Health Club, Healthcare Heroes Endowment Fund, West River Ambulance, Physician Recruitment Endowment Fund, Western Horizons Living Centers, Scholarship or the General Fund.
