Our Fun, Run & Walk Committee met this past week to determine distributions from our 31st Annual Fun, Run & Walk. This year we raised $4,100 net from our registration fees, sponsorships and raffle ticket sales. We decided to distribute $500 each to the Resident & Tenant Activity Programs at our Western Horizons Care Center and Assisted Living Center. These funds allow Debbie Christman, Dawn Bunn, Diane Henderson and their staffs to create terrific new activities for our patients at both of these fine facilities.
The balance of the funds ($3,100) were distributed as follows:
$600 Lemmon Youth & Adult Fitness Camps
$600 Hettinger Pool Open Swims
$600 Yoga Classes Room Rental
$500 Cooking Classes
$350 Frisbee Golf Sets at Hettinger School
$250 WRHS Frisbees for every student at Hettinger School
$200 Hettinger Granary – Home of the Fun, Run & Walk
