Huge Area Supporter RZ Motors Offering New Vehicles AT COST For Hospital FUNdraiser!

CLICK TO VIEW ALL THE SILENT AND LIVE AUCTION ITEMS ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE

The entire Hettinger area business community is coming together to support needed equipment at West River Health Services (WRHS) and Western Horizons Living Centers (WHLC) via their New Annual Spring Mardi Gras FUNdraiser April 21st at the Hettinger Armory. RZ Motors Inc., the leader in auto sales and service in Western Dakota and longtime WRHS supporter, joined the effort. They are offering any NEW VEHICLE on their lot – AT COST – if you win the bid for their “Platinum Key” at the Mardi Gras Live Auction. Who knows? They might even offer more than one key! After all, people attending this Mardi Gras Party might need a new RZ Motors Ford or Dodge Truck or a new Ford or Jeep sport utility vehicle to pull one of their new campers or boats from AgPro Motors! Now this is working together as a community! Who’da thunk this was even possible?!!

Local auctioneer Mark Zimmerman will start the Mardi Gras Live Auction at approximately 8:00pm at the Hettinger Armory. Everyone with a bidding number (which also doubles as your entry ticket) will be eligible to bid for one of RZ Motors’ “Platinum Keys.” The winning bid will receive the key and a certificate to receive a new truck, a new sport utility or new car AT COST! No retail prices here with this promotion! The WRHS Foundation will receive the bid price, which could be tax deductible (please consult your tax representative). This is a win-win-win situation for everyone involved – local healthcare, local car dealer, and local consumers!

RZ Motors has been a huge supporter of West River Health Services forever. Recently they gifted $2,500 for every dozen WRHS and WHLC employees to purchase a vehicle. Prior to that they had a “Ride for the Rooms,” where a Test Drive was set up at the hospital and over 225 people got into the act – raising $2,500 for the “One Room At a Time Together” Campaign to spruce up the Care Center with new flooring, sinks, toilets, lighting and new paint in every resident room. Prior to that, RZ Motors gifted $10,000 to the new Hettinger Clinic and Surgery Center Capital Campaign.

Plus RZ Motors has always stepped up for our local area rodeos and our schools. Anything that happens in this area – the circus, Helping Hettinger, backboards for the Little Gym, 4-H, shot clocks at the gym, you name it – RZ Motors has been at the front of the list monetarily and in other giving ways.

$35 per person tickets are still available (and will be at the Armory door too) for the Annual Spring Mardi Gras Party at KB Jewelers, Prairie Rose Floral, the Hettinger Chamber, Kim Schalesky at WRHS Administration, Ted Uecker at the WRHS Foundation, and every WRHS Satellite Clinic Front Desk. Plus tickets are available at The Flower Box in Lemmon and the Tilted Tulip in Mott. Whether you can attend the event or not, you can still purchase a ticket or two!

Many local businesses are offering amazing prizes during the Silent and Live Auctions: Reflections Studio submitted an incredible photograph of Mirror Lake on a wood frame; West Plains Inc. has gifted a 200 Amp Battery Charger/Starter; KNDC is offering 6 MN Twins tickets to most any home game, plus tickets to Mall of America’s Camp Snoopy and Crayola Experience; Sharon Silkman is offering heavenly massages; Amanda Reimer has gifted a wine basket; H&H Cleaners and Carmel’s Cleaners are offering gift certificates; Schauer Sheep Company is offering a fat lamb; Uecker Yards is offering a quarter beef; Scruffy’s is gifting a finished hog; Duey and Char Marthaller added an exquisite handmade wooden bowl; plus the following WRHS and WHLC departments are all submitting a basket, artwork, jewelry, or some amazing gift: Radiology, Laboratory, Ambulance, Physical Therapy, Administration, Care Center, Bowman Clinic, and Lemmon Clinic. Plus, don’t forget about our UND Hockey, Medora Musical and Disney World Trips. And the Ed Sheeran Concert in Fargo October 17th! Or the Lunch in Kathleen Brackel’s backyard garden for four! And maybe the grand topper of them all – a real, live registered yellow Labrador retriever puppy from Chris and Tricia Parnow!

Mardi Gras masks, boas and beads are available at Prairie Rose Floral. Be sure to attend the Spring Mardi Gras FUNdraiser, or have someone there to bid for you, so you can get a vehicle to pull your camper or boat to Disney World! Let’s Mardi Gras!
