Scrubs Camp, the premier educational program aimed at inspiring and preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals, made its return on March 27th, 2024. Presented by West River Health Services, R-COOL, and RACTC, Scrubs Camp is designed to ignite passion and provide hands-on- exposure to various healthcare fields.From stitching up a banana to making dental impressions on their friends, it was a fun-filled day for the students of Mott, Hettinger, and Scranton. West River Health Services would like to extend a huge thank you to all those involved in this year’s camp. Thank you to all the presenters for donating your time and sharing your knowledge with our youth. Thank you to the volunteers for keeping the event running smoothly and Kennedys Fresh Foods for keeping their stomachs full with great snacks and lunch. Thank you, Ron Dragoo, WRHSF Board Member, for sharing his story about how CPR saved his life and the importance of knowing it. Most of all, thank you to the Mott, Hettinger, and Scranton 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who participated. We can’t wait to see where the future takes you!
