Take-our-Community-Health-Needs-Assessment-Survey-TODAY-1

We need your help!

West River Health Services is currently conducting our Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), and the survey is officially OPEN NOW.

This is more than just a survey sitting in an inbox somewhere. Your feedback helps us understand what our communities need, what challenges people are facing, and where we can make the biggest impact.

And if you've every wondered, "Does anyone actually do anything with these surveys?" The answer is yes!

Your feedback helps turn ideas into action.

Over the years, feedback from our communities has helped guide initiatives, programs, partnerships and events designed to make healthy choices, wellness resources and community connections more accessible.

Some of the ways West River Health Services has worked to support the needs identified in our communities include:

  • Cooking classes to encourage healthy, practical meal choices
  • Free blood pressure and blood sugar checks throughout the community
  • Health Fair pop-ups bringing health education and resources directly to people
  • Open swims to encourage activity and family wellness
  • Water aerobics for accessible, low-impact exercise
  • Open gyms to give community members opportunities to stay active
  • Yoga classes supporting movement, flexibility and overall wellness
  • Midweek Dose of Community, creating opportunities to connect, learn and engage
  • Mental health education and awareness, including bringing Brandon Saho, The Mental Game, to our community
  • Collaboration with Hettinger Public School, including supporting the resurfacing of their gym floor to help provide students with a safe space to stay active
  • …and so much more!
  • So, what do we need from you?

    Your honest opinion!

There are no wrong answers. We want to hear from the people who live, work, raise families and build their lives in the communities we serve.

Your response helps us look beyond statistics and understand the real needs of our neighbors.
