Local Church Kids Make quilt for New Year's Baby

Hettinger Lutheran Wednesday night school 3rd and 4th grade class made a quilt for the New Years Baby. Parents Alex and Nicol and brother Jussi, Lemmon, pictured with Kacie Raine. “Kind of funny that she’s the New

Year’s Baby,” said Alex, father of Kacie.

“In 1987, I was the New Year’s Baby in Hettinger.” The Chamber presented the family with gifts donated by: West

Dakota Western Bank, and Adams County Record. Kacie Raine was born January 17 at 5:03 p.m., weighing 6 lbs. 15.8 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long.
