West River Ambulance receives award
The Adams County Emergency Network received the 2009 Partner in Community Pride Award from the Hettinger Area Chamber of Commerce in Janauary, with individual plaques going to Hettinger Fire Department, West River Ambulance Service, Reeder Fire Department and First Responders.
We have an outstanding Emergency Network in our area, including Paramedics, EMT’s, Firemen, First Responders, and Extrication Emergency Responders all working together to provide assistance in an emergency. There are people located throughout Adams County who, if an emergency does occur, are there to offer assistance. You will meet some of these outstanding, well trained people if you ever find yourself in an emergency situation, be it a medical emergency, and/or fire.
The West River Ambulance, Hettinger and Reeder Fire Departments and the First Responders all work together to provide this emergency network. These people not only serve but have given many hours to become trained. We are very fortunate that much of the training had been provided locally.
Thanks to all the people who serve and work together in all these capacities, this vital service will continue to be provided for many years to come. Award nomination
