Christensen receives award

Inger Christensen, Certified Nursing Assistant, (CNA) received the 2009 Medical Services Provider of the Year from the Hettinger Area Chamber of Commerce in January.

“Inger is an amazing nursing assistant who treats all employees, patients and patients’ families in her own special way.

“She takes great pride in her job by caring for families who have loved ones in the hospital and gives that extra special touch which is so appreciated when someone is sick. Many times she brings things from her own home to show patients or to help take their mind off their illness.

“We are very lucky to have such a unique co-worker to work with. She covers shifts for others when illness or family emergencies happen.

“She came to the US from Denmark and is very proud to now be a US citizen.“ Award nomination
