Vaccination clinic will be in Hettinger and New England Schools in April for students age 11 and up, which is a requirement for entry into 7th grade. Watch for information. Any questions about the vaccinations-call yiour local provider.

Chicken Pox Vaccination Guidelines for School	8:00 a.m.

Any child, who has NOT had the Chicken Pox illness, should be vaccinated. First vaccinaton can be at age 12 - 15 months. Booster/second vaccination before entry into Kindergarten. Contact your health care provider or public health for information.

We're pleased to offer several scholarships to AREA students pursuing a medical career. Scholarship applications are available by contacting area high school principals, guidance counselors, or Bev Strand, WRHSF Academic Scholarship Coordinator at (701) 567-6188. Applications are also available on www.wrhs.com. Application deadline is April 1st.

WIC Program	8:00 a.m.

Sixty percent of the babies born in North Dakota qualify for the WIC program. WIC’s primary goal is to provide the nutritious foods and education for pregnant and new mothers, infants and children up to the age of five. WIC also provides added support for breast-feeding women and their babies.
