Dacotah Bank’s in Lemmon, Bison, Hettinger and Regent recently announced they will be making a substantial contribution to the West River Regional Hospital project. “To assure a first-class facility for the entire community and the surrounding area, Dacotah Bank pledged a $50,000 contribution to the project,” Dacotah Bank Regional President Dan Baumgarten stated. “As an independent community bank, Dacotah Bank is proud to continue its commitment as a leader in helping our communities through providing support for important projects such as this. Not only will this facility benefit our residents now and for years to come, but it will also greatly enhance and compliment the entire community and surrounding area. We can all take great pride in this project.”

Jim Long, West River Health Services Administrator and CEO said, “We are most pleased to have Dacotah Bank as a contributor to the Centennial Building Addition. Dacotah Bank and WRHS both serve many of the same communities in this region. It is most appropriate that we work together for the benefit of our patients and their customers. Dacotah Bank’s gift helps bring to reality an improvement to the local healthcare system that is significant not only for this generation but for generations to come.” Al McIntyre, WRHS Foundation Development Officer added, “This gift also recognizes WRHS as an integral part of economic development when attracting new business and industry to towns in our region.”

Dacotah Banks Inc. is an Aberdeen-based bank holding company with $1.2 billion in assets and operates 32 locations throughout North Dakota and South Dakota. Dacotah Bank plans to open two new bank locations this year, including a fourth location in Sioux Falls at 57th Street and Cliff Avenue and a location in Custer, South Dakota.
